My name is Richard, and I founded Lichfield Entertainments - of which Exhibition Stand Games is a major part - back in 1995. Around 2015, I noticed a growing demand for games and attractions designed to create additional interest on companies exhibition and conference stands so I decided to make this a key focus of the business moving forward.

As this side of the business grew rapidly, it became clear that it needed its own dedicated website. The games relevant to this specific market were becoming a little lost amongst our wider range of offerings, so www.exhibitionstandgames.co.uk was born.

Since then, supplying interactive games for exhibitions, conferences, and other indoor corporate events has become my main business focus. While we still provide many other types of event entertainment, these are the events I personally enjoy being involved with the most. I love every part of the process - from providing the initial quote, right through to collecting the game at the end of the event and hearing how well it was received by stand visitors, or interacting with guests while running games at corporate social events.

Anything that comes in a flight case is a particular favourite of mine - so much so that the area of our warehouse containing flight-cased games and entertainments is affectionately known as my “happy aisles”!

I have always based the business on strong, valued relationships with both my staff and my customers, and I run it with a conscience. My small core team has been with me for many years, and many of our customers return time and time again - in fact, around 70% of our business comes from repeat clients. I have no desire to expand beyond a level where we can no longer offer a personal service, and I have no “exit plan” - a phrase that seems increasingly popular these days for those looking to build something quickly and move on as soon as possible.

When you request a quote, it will be me who provides it. If you have a query, it will be me who happily answers it. I have something of an obsession with replying to emails as quickly as possible, and even if I can’t give a detailed response straight away, I will always let you know and follow up properly as soon as I can. There’s also a very good chance I’ll be involved in the delivery or collection of the game at your event, as I genuinely enjoy the hands-on side of the business.
